Since November 2015, ECPAT Belgium has launched the projet REACT (REinforcing Assitance to Child victims of Trafficking) aiming at ensuring effective access to justice and the right to be protected in legal procedures for children who may have been trafficked. The project is implemented with ECPAT groups from four other member states: France, UK, The Netherlands and Germany.
- Research: elaboration of a national and European study on the role of guardians and lawyers in the identification/protection of trafficked children
- Training: development of training modules on child trafficking for guardians and lawyers
- Development of child-friendly tools to inform children about their rights (flyer and video)
- European advocacy on the basis of the research findings
