{"id":3029,"date":"2014-06-24T14:54:16","date_gmt":"2014-06-24T13:54:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ecpat.be\/?p=3029"},"modified":"2017-12-20T16:55:30","modified_gmt":"2017-12-20T15:55:30","slug":"tip-report-2014-has-been-released-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ecpat.be\/en\/tip-report-2014-has-been-released-3\/","title":{"rendered":"TIP Report 2014 has been released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Each year, the US State Department releases a \u201cTrafficking in Persons Report\u201d (TIP Report), which\u00a0represents an updated, global look at the nature and scope of trafficking in persons and the broad range of government actions to confront and eliminate it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.state.gov\/j\/tip\/rls\/tiprpt\/2014\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3031\" src=\"http:\/\/ecpat.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/TIP2014cover_200_1.jpg\" alt=\"TIP2014cover\" width=\"200\" height=\"252\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Countries are placed onto one of three tiers based on the extent of their governments\u2019 efforts to comply with the \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.state.gov\/j\/tip\/rls\/tiprpt\/2011\/164236.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Belgium is ranked in Tier 1, which means it complies with the minimum standards.
