Twenty-five years to this day,\u00a0the idea of a campaign to \u2018End Child Prostitution in Asian Tourism\u2019 was launched in Chiang Mai, Thailand, with the aim\u00a0\u2018to end the sexual abuse of children by tourists\u2019.<\/p>\n

Twenty-five years later, this campaign has evolved into a global network of civil society organisations, now known by the acronym ECPAT, dedicated to ending the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC), with member groups and affiliates in 77 countries.<\/p>\n
