This has been our mission since 1990. As a member of the ECPAT International network, we are making every effort to achieve this goal.
Through regular preventive actions with professionals such as tourism professionals, lawyers, guardians, our awareness actions highlight the realities of child sexual exploitation to stop abuses.
Our cornerstone is to position children, youth, victims at the center of our movement. Making their voices heard in our studies, strategic choices and actions is essential to stay connected and attentive to their needs.
The fight against the sexual exploitation of children must be carried out together. Therefore, ECPAT Belgium mobilizes its partners and civil society as a whole to protect children.
ECPAT is the only international network exclusively dedicated to the fight against the sexual exploitation of children. Our common goal is to eradicate the sexual exploitation of children around the world.
To achieve this goal, ECPAT conducts research to raise public awareness of this still unknown problem. ECPAT coordinates advocacy at all levels to strengthen national justice and protection systems and increase investments in the fight against sexual exploitation of children. At the heart of our work are children’s voices, reflected in our research, programs and campaigns.
